Staging
Before rolling out any new technology it must be set up and configured, this process is called “Staging”.
As part of the Staging process the MiTEQ technical team will apply the predefined Gold Build along with any device specific individual configuration (e.g. static IP addresses, device names etc.). Finally, any necessary accessories will be fitted, such as screen protectors for a mobile computer.
This will then ensure that when you receive your new technology it is ready to be deployed.
Kitting & Shipping
Typically, when a rollout involves multiple locations, it is necessary to build a “Kit” for each location. This involves combining a piece of technology with its accessories, for example, a mobile computer with its chargers and batteries, a printer with its power cables and media, or an RFID reader with its antennas and mounting brackets.
MiTEQ’s operational team will build out kits for each of your sites and ship to each location in line with your deployment schedule.
Installation
If your technology deployment has any fixed infrastructure the MiTEQ infrastructure technicians can provide the required installation services.
Whether it is Fixed RFID infrastructure, Wi-Fi access points, display screens or any other static solution, our teams will work with your project teams and local site management to provide a professional equipment installation.
Cabling
Whenever fixed infrastructure is involved, it is likely that there will be a requirement to install new cabling. Whether that is network, power or antenna cable, to support a new RFID or Wi-Fi deployment our teams will be able to design and spec the appropriate cable for your deployment.
Our engineers will work with your infrastructure teams to make sure your existing corporate standards are applied, and we also ensure that all wires are neatly organised and, if necessary, concealed to maintain the aesthetics of your space
Training & Documentation
To ensure the success of any new technology deployment it is vital to provide the appropriate training to users.
MiTEQ’s technical and operations team can pull together training documentation, user guides and “How-Tos” that can be provided to sites. In addition, our team can deliver on site face-to-face or online virtual training to members of staff prior to rollout and then where required refresher sessions for new starters, for example.
Project Management
To ensure that complex system design and deployment runs smoothly, to time and to budget having a Project Manager is vital.
MiTEQ’s Project Managers will work with your project teams to define schedules, deliverables, and milestones. Throughout the project our project manager will run progress meetings and ensure that we meet committed deadlines, documenting schedules and activities.
